ED: 'The record was almost finished on chrismas of '99. The whole band had taken a month of holiday and each one started to doubt about the album. The doubt was so high, that when we got back in the recording studio, none of us was satisfied with anything we had recorded. We divided us then in two groups. Each group went to work in a seperate studio. We started working with loops and samples and gave what we made to the other group. We were not allowed to use guitars, bass or microphone. Everything had to be done with a computer or a synthesizer. Each one of us gave himself a 100% and it worked out very well. I learned that I don't have to be afraid to propose my ideas to the others, even if they are completely wacko. Lots of my crazy ideas got on the record.'
