'Soft Pain' is the name given to two different, but related tracks that were made by Thom during the OK Computer sessions, and released on 'MiniDiscs [HACKED]'. The first of these was shown in several different iterations as it was being worked on, along with an acoustic demo.
The following is an attempt at combining the 'Soft Pain' and 'VOX' tracks into a complete mix:
The other track bearing the name of 'Soft Pain' is a more gritty industrial track, with two edits of it on the MiniDiscs. It seems to feature the same bell chime sound from 'A Reminder'.
